Rental Requirements for International Visitors

Essential documents and information needed to rent a vehicle in Sri Lanka

Valid International Driving Permit

Must be valid and recognized in Sri Lanka. Your home country driving license alone is not sufficient. If you don't have a driving license, we can supply it for you one day after your arrival in Sri Lanka.

Passport & Visa Copy

Clear copies of your passport and valid Sri Lankan visa are required for verification.

Minimum Age 21+

You must be at least 21 years old to rent a vehicle in Sri Lanka.

Refundable Deposit Required

A security deposit is required and will be refunded upon safe return of the vehicle.

Fully Insured Vehicle

All our vehicles come with comprehensive insurance coverage for your peace of mind.

Budget does not include fuel. You need to fill fuel for your vehicle. Please return the vehicle with a full tank at the end of your rental/tour.

Daily Vehicle Price: The vehicle price shown is per day. Each day includes a maximum of 100km.
Extra Distance Charges: If you travel more than 100km per day for any reason, extra charges will apply based on the additional distance.
